1. What Guestribe is

Guestribe is a community where travellers share tips about places, hostels, food, transport and things to avoid, with photos and personal profiles. By using the website you accept these terms and the privacy policy.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to sign up.
• Use a name or nickname that doesn't impersonate other people or brands.
• You are responsible for what you publish and for keeping your password safe.
• You can delete your account at any time from My profile → Edit profile → Delete my account.

3. What you can publish

• Tips based on your own real experience. No made-up or paid reviews, and no reviews of a business you own or work for.
• Photos you took yourself, or that you have the rights to. Avoid recognisable faces of people who haven't given their consent.
• No advertising, spam, promotional links, insults, or discriminatory, violent or illegal content.
• No personal data of other people (addresses, phone numbers, full names of private individuals).
• The same rules apply to profile photos and comments. Photos and comments that break them can be removed without notice.

4. Messages

Private messages must follow the same rules: no spam, harassment or unsolicited advertising. You can block anyone who writes to you, and report profiles that break the rules.

5. Moderation

Every new tip is checked by the team before it is published. We may reject or remove content that breaks these rules, and suspend accounts that break them repeatedly. Anyone can report content with the Report button.

6. Rights to your content

Your texts and photos remain yours. By publishing them on Guestribe you give us a free, non-exclusive permission to show them on the website and its channels (for example Guestribe's social media profiles), credited with your nickname. If you delete a piece of content or your account, we stop showing it on the website.

7. Tips, not guarantees

Tips are the personal opinions of other travellers. Prices, opening hours, entry rules and conditions change: always check important information, especially about documents, safety and health, with official sources before you travel.

8. Partner links

Some links to booking services (for example Hostelworld, GetYourGuide or 12Go) are affiliate links and are marked as such: if you book through them, Guestribe earns a small commission and your price stays the same. Partner services have their own terms and privacy policies.

9. Tribe points and perks

Tribe points reward your activity on Guestribe. They have no cash value, can't be sold or transferred, and may be adjusted if they were earned through spam or fake content. Perks depend on our partners' availability and may change over time.

10. Changes and contact
